【摘要】:Basedonthemeasurementsofforceanddisplacementatthepiletop,possiblycombinedwiththosefromaccelerationorstraintransducerslocatedfurtherdownthepile,thesetestmethodsmeasurethepiletopdeflectioninresponsetoanaxialcompressiveforcepulse.Therelativelylongdurationoftheforcepulsecomparedtothenaturalperiodofthetestpilecausesthepiletocompressandtranslateapproximatelyasaunitduringaportionofthepulse,simultaneouslymobilizingcompressiveaxialstaticcapacityanddynamicresistanceatallpointsalongthelengthofthepileforthatportionofthetest.TheEngineermayanalyzetheacquireddatausingengineeringprinciplesandjudgmenttoevaluatetheperformanceoftheforcepulseapparatus,andthecharacteristicsofthepile''sresponsetotheforcepulseloading.Ifsignificantpermanentaxialmovementoccursduringtheaxialforcepulseevent,theEngineermayanalyzetheresultsofthetesttoestimate,afterassessinginertialeffectsandthedynamicsoilandrockresponsealongthesideandbottomofthepile,theultimateaxialstaticcompressioncapacity(seeNote2).Thescopeofthisstandarddoesnotincludeanalysisforeitherultimateordesignfoundationcapacity.Factorsthatmayaffecttheaxialstaticcapacityestimatedfromforcepulsetestsinclude,butarenotlimitedto,the:(1)pileinstallationequipmentandprocedures,(2)elapsedtimesinceinitialinstallation,(3)pilematerialpropertiesanddimensions,(4)type,density,strength,stratification,andsaturationofthesoil,orrock,orbothadjacenttoandbeneaththepile,(5)qualityofforcepulsetestdata,(6)foundationsettlement,(7)analysismethod,and(8)engineeringjudgmentandexperience.IftheEngineerdoesnothaveadequatepreviousexperiencewiththesefactors,andwiththeanalysisofforcepulsetestdata,thenastaticloadtestcarriedoutaccordingtoTestMethodD1143shouldbeusedtoverifyestimatesofstaticcapacityanditsdistributionalongthepilelength.TestMethodD1143providesadirectandmorereliablemeasurementofstaticcapacity.Note28212;Ifaforcepulsetestproducesinsufficientaxialmovement,subsequentanalysismayoverestimatethestaticcapacitybecauseofdifficultyinseparatingthestaticanddynamiccomponentsoftheresponse.Theanalysisofaforcepulsetesttoestimatestaticcapacityalsotypicallyincludesareductionfactortoaccountfortheadditionalloadresistancethatoccursasaresultofafasterrateofloadingthanusedduringastatictest.Forcepulsetestresultsfromcohesivesoilsgenerallyrequireagreaterreductionfactorduetotherateofloadingeffect,chosenconservativelytoproducealowerstaticcapacityestimate.TheEngineershoulddeterminehowthetype,size,andshapeofthepile,andthepropertiesofthesoilorrockbeneathandadjacenttothepile,affecttherate-of-loadingreductionfactorsandtheamountofmovementrequiredtomobilizeandaccuratelyassessthestaticcapacity.Correlationsbetweenactualmeasurementsandforcepulseestimatesoftheultimateaxialstaticcompressioncapacitygenerallyimprovewhenusingadditionaltransducersembeddedinthepile.Staticcapacitymayalsochangeovertimeafterthepileinstallation,especiallyfordrivenpiles.Bothstaticandforcepulsetestsrepresentthecapacityatthetimeoftherespectivetest,andcorrelationattemptsshouldprovideresultsfora.......
