【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandard,togetherwithISO15004,specifiesminimumrequirementsandthedesigncomplianceprocedurefortonometersintendedforroutineclinicaluseintheestimationofintraocularpressure(IOP).ThisInternationalStandardtakesprecedenceovertheISO15004,ifdifferencesexist.NOTE1Thetrueintraocularpressureisseldomdirectlymeasuredsinceitwouldrequireinvasionoftheeye.SincethetrueIOPcannotbeknown,theinstrument(annexA)andmethod(annexB)fordeterminingareferenceIOPareinsteadspecified.NOTE2ClinicaltonometersmayemploydifferentparametersorcorrelatesintheindirectassessmentofmeasuredIOP.Themanufacturerstatestheexactdesignparametersofthespecifictonometer,andthen,onthebasisofdesigncompliancetestingasspecifiedin4.2,demonstratesthatthespecificdesignperformsacceptablycomparedtothereferencemethod.Thisprocessisreferredtoascertification.Themanufactureralsodemonstrates,bymethodsspecifiedin4.3,thatindividualmanufacturedinstrumentsperformthesame(withindefinedlimits)asthetesttonometer.Thisprocessisreferredtoasverification.
