【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesatestmethod,performancerequirementsandclassificationforexplosionresistantglazingforuseinbuildings.Theexplosionpressureresistantglazingisintendedtoofferresistanceagainstexplosivewithrespecttohumansafety.Thisstandardconcernsamethodoftestagainstblastwavesgeneratedusingashocktubeorsimilarfacilitytosimulateahighexplosivedetonation.Theclassificationisonlyvalidforthetestedglasssizesofabout1m.Basedontheoreticalconsiderationsand/orexperimentalwork,theresultscanbeusedforestimatingtheexplosionpressureresistanceofotherglasssizes.NOTE1Inordertoensurealsoacertainresistanceagainstflyingfragments,referencecanbemadetoEN356.NOTE2Theresistanceclassesarenotassignedtospecificsituations.Foreachindividualcasethespecifier,ifnecessarywiththehelpofexpertsinthefieldofexplosion,shouldbeconsulted.NOTE3Theprotectionprovidedbyexplosionresistantglazingnotonlydependsontheproductitself,butalsoonthedesignandfixingoftheglass.InprEN12488,prEN13123-1,prEN13124-1,WI00033086,WI00033087,respectively,recommendationsaregivenforproperinstallationofsecurityglazing.note:*)SeeBibliography.
